What is a prediction market?

A prediction market lets you trade on the outcome of a real-world event — an election, a game, an economic number. Each market has YES and NO shares; the price of a share reflects the crowd's estimate of how likely the outcome is. If you're right when the market resolves, your winning shares each pay out $1.

How does a share price relate to probability?

A YES share trading at 60¢ means the market currently estimates a 60% chance the event happens. Prices move from 1¢ to 99¢ as people buy and sell. The cents and the percentage are the same idea: 60¢ ≈ 60%.

Paper mode lets you practise with virtual balances — no real money is involved. Paper positions and balances are kept completely separate from real ones and are clearly labelled as practice. It's the best way to learn the mechanics before trading for real.

Drazill's team curates and lists every market, each with clear resolution criteria and trusted sources defined up front. We don't currently offer user-created markets — if there's an outcome you'd like to see, let us know.

What's the difference between YES and NO shares?

Accepted Answer

YES shares pay $1 if the event happens; NO shares pay $1 if it doesn't. Buy whichever side you believe will win. Their prices always reflect the market's current probability estimate and add up to about $1.

What's the difference between a market order and a limit order?

A market order fills right away at the best available price. A limit order lets you set the exact price you're willing to pay (or accept) — it fills only if the market reaches that price, which can be better but isn't guaranteed.

How do I read the order book?

The order book lists the prices buyers are bidding and sellers are asking, with the quantity available at each level. The gap between the best bid and best ask is the spread — a tighter spread usually means a more liquid market.

Can I sell my shares before a market resolves?

Yes. You can sell at any time before the market closes. The price you get depends on current market conditions. Go to your Portfolio, find the position, and choose Sell.

How are markets resolved?

Every market states its resolution criteria and the sources used to settle it before you trade. When the event concludes, the outcome is verified against those sources and winning shares are paid out at $1 each.

What happens if a market is voided?

If a market is voided — for example, if resolution criteria become unclear or an event is cancelled — traders are refunded. Your shares are returned to cash rather than settling to a win or loss.

Can I dispute how a market resolved?

If a market has a dispute window, it's shown on the market's resolution details along with the source used. Contact support with the market and your reasoning during that window and our team will review it.

Why did the trade button stay disabled?

The order button stays disabled until we have a live price quote and your inputs are valid — for example, you can't sell more shares than you hold. This protects you from submitting an order at an unknown price.

How do I add funds to my account?

Open your wallet and choose Deposit. Card deposits are the supported funding method in the current app. Follow the secure Stripe prompts and wait for confirmation before treating the funds as available to trade.

How long do withdrawals take?

A withdrawal is reviewed, submitted to the payout provider, and marked complete only after the provider confirms it. First-time or larger withdrawals may need identity verification first. You can follow the status in Portfolio → History.

Are there fees for deposits or withdrawals?

Any deposit or withdrawal fee is shown from the live fee schedule before you confirm — you'll always see it up front. Trading fees are separate and tiered (see the Fees page).

Limits are enforced by policy and can depend on your verification status, risk checks, and account settings. The applicable minimum and maximum are shown on the amount screen before you submit.

Why does a withdrawal need extra verification?

Moving money out is the most sensitive action on the platform, so it requires a one-time code from your authenticator app (and may require identity verification). This protects your funds even if someone else reaches your signed-in session.

Where can I see my deposits and withdrawals?

Your full transaction history — deposits, withdrawals, trades, fees, and payouts — lives in Portfolio → History. You can also download a complete copy of your data from Settings → Account.

Why is my deposit still pending?

A deposit shows as pending until the payment is confirmed. Card payments usually confirm quickly, but a bank's extra security check can add time. Treat funds as available only once the deposit shows complete in Portfolio → History.

How do I verify my identity (KYC)?

Open Settings → Account and start verification. You'll provide government-issued ID as part of our KYC/AML process. Identity verification is required before you can move real money. We'll email you when the review is complete.

How long does verification take?

Reviews are handled by our identity-verification provider. We'll email you as soon as yours is reviewed — there's no need to resubmit while it shows as pending. If something's wrong, you'll be told what to fix.

I forgot my password. How do I reset it?

Password resets are handled through account recovery on our identity provider. Email support@drazill.com from the address on your account and we'll help you regain access securely. (A self-serve reset link is on the way.)

You can update your phone number in Settings → Account. Email changes are handled by support — contact us from your current address and we'll verify the change.

How do I download a copy of my data?

Go to Settings → Account → Your data and choose Download my data. You'll get a JSON file with your profile, positions, transactions, and consent history — your PIPEDA right to access.

How do I deactivate or delete my account?

In Settings → Account you can Deactivate (a reversible pause) or Request account deletion. Deletion requires identity verification and completes within 30 days; financial records are kept (anonymized) for the period the law requires.

Yes. Settings → Account → Active sessions lists your signed-in devices. You can sign out of a single device or sign out everywhere with one tap.

What's the difference between my balance and locked balance?

Your available balance is what you can trade or withdraw right now. Locked balance is tied up in resting limit orders; it returns to available if those orders are cancelled or filled.

Paper balances are virtual practice funds, kept entirely separate from real balances and clearly labelled. Nothing you do in paper mode affects real money, and paper results are never mixed into real statements.

When a market settles, your winning shares are paid out at $1 each and the proceeds are credited to your available balance. Losing shares settle to zero, and voided markets refund your cost. Each settlement appears in Portfolio → History.
